History:
The first contract for the company was signed in 1987 by ALU International for the construction of the wheelhouses for hulls of fishing vessels ordered by Maaskant Shipyards, Holland with Gdynia Shipyard, Poland.
First of the companies - ALU International in January 1993 increased its initial capital and became the owner of premises being totally 11,500 sq. meters with multipurposed workshop, store and office building.
In 1995 ALU Group has expand its production in stainless steel constructions for shipbuilding, as well as housing purposes.
In 1999 ALU International purchased 32,800 sq. meters of shipbuilding premises with including craned berths and workshop for prefabrication and fitting enabling to build large overall dimension aluminium constructions. ALU International Shipyard was established in this area.

We have a modern aluminium structures' welding shop which was co -financed by Phare 2002 EU Fund.

ALU International SHIPYARD Sp. z o.o. has launched a technical stand for preliminary prefabrication of aluminium plates: - plasma cutting.
Our company offers service in aluminium plates in thicknesses up to 25 mm and sheets up to 2000x8000 mm.
This project is financed together with:
European Union - European Funds of Regional Development.

ALU Group employs about 150 workers
being well trained and experienced aluminium fitters and welders
and technical supervision. ALU is approved by well
known European classification authorities: DNV, ABS, GL, LRS
and BV. At present ALU Group pays special attention
to maintain high quality standards and, if possible, continue
to further improve it. |
